In September/October Broome County Landfill will have three (3) regional electronics collections scheduled. The locations and dates are listed below. All collections will be held from 9 am to 1 pm. Collections are open to Broome County residents only. No businesses may participate.
Electronics accepted as part of this program are televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, cell phones, radios, stereos (no speakers), VCRs, GPS units, and gaming consoles.
Electronics NOT accepted as part of the program include countertop appliances, microwaves, answering machines, large appliances, vacuums, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, freezers, refrigerators, and humidifiers.
To promote the events we will utilize social media and paid advertising through the newspaper. Please feel free to share the information with your residents.
September 9th: Village of Windsor, Klump Park
September 23rd: Village of Endicott, Municipal Lot-Madison Avenue
October 7th: Town of Chenango/Broome County, Park and Ride Lot-12A
